Bargaining Team needs your input!

Now that Spring is here and the Legislature has left town, it will soon be time to sit down with the District at the Bargaining Table as our AEA Contract continues through August 31. Our Bargaining Team is looking forward to talking with you soon and we thought that we could perhaps meet for dinner and listen to you? Our hope is that we can bring teachers together from throughout the district and share our stories and concerns and how we can address them. The key question is "what does success look like to you"?

Some of you have already heard about or attended these dinners while others haven't yet.  Fear not because while our first two meetings were this past Tuesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 19th at Hubbs Pizza and Pasta ( we will also meet on the 23rd, 26th, and 30th of April and on the 1st, 2nd, 8th, 10th, 22nd, 24th, and if needed, the 31st of May.  Please check with your AEA Building Reps or anyone on the Bargaining Team to sign up for a date.  Once you have signed up (we need more folks
from AHS and Haller to sign up for this week as we haven't had anyone from the Bargaining Team see you yet) please check out the menu as you will order immediately as you enter.  We will start at 4:30 and plan on ending at 6:30 and while your Union will pick up the tab for food and drink, if you care for anything stronger you are on your own.

Your bargaining team is looking forward to representing you in negotiations.  Your guidance, expertise, and passion will write our script for us!  Remember -United We Bargain, Divided We Beg!  Please sign up soon and we thank you for your dedication to Public Education!   Eric Grant - Todd McLaughlin - Denise Jackson - Phil Karlberg - Kathy Kjargaard - Jamie R.
