Taking the Message to Steve Hobbs Neighborhood

posted Mar 20, 2013, 11:30 AM by Joseph Vellegas
WE ARE TAKING OUR MESSAGE  TO STEVE HOBB’S NEIGHBORHOOD:  Stop shirking your paramount duty to the children of Washington State!

SATURDAY, MARCH 23
10:00 A.M.-UNTIL YOU FINISH YOUR LIST
LAKE STEVENS HIGH SCHOOL COMMONS/CAFETERIA
2908 113TH AVE NE
LAKE STEVENS, WA

Some may say, what the heck, we won’t change Hobbs’ mind about the crazy legislation he supports!  Why talk to voters in his District?  A recent story about another legislator may help explain:
Representative Maureen Walsh was one of the original sponsors of House Bill 1588. It said if you sell a gun but are not a gun dealer, you have to do a background check to see if the buyer is eligible to own a gun.  After the NRA leafleted her district, flooding her with 1,000 calls and emails, Walsh changed her position to “no.” So ended the bill’s momentum.
Re-election:  a paramount desire of an elected official.  Let’s talk to voters in Hobbs’ neighborhood about his paramount DUTY, and ask them to flood him with calls and emails.
WILL YOU JOIN US SATURDAY MORNING, MARCH 23?  The walking lists are doable, only 20-25 houses per list.  We meet at 10:00, we will have you out the door no later than 10:30.  Power through your list, and enjoy the rest of your Saturday.  AND FEEL GOOD ALL WEEKEND THAT WE CAME TOGETHER TO TAKE A STAND.
PLEASE EMAIL ME TO LET ME KNOW YOU ARE COMING AND WHO YOU ARE BRINGING!
Thanks!
